How to Choose an Umbrella: What to Consider

A simple guide to choosing an umbrella: size, layers, fiberglass frame and kids' umbrella features.

A good umbrella protects you in both rain and sun, but not all umbrellas are the same. Here is what to pay attention to.

1. Size

A large umbrella protects better from rain but is heavier. Our umbrella has a 156 cm diameter and is 100 cm long, so it covers a wide area.

2. Two layers

A 2-layer umbrella protects from rain and is also good against the sun. Ours is black outside and yellow inside.

3. The frame

A fiberglass frame is light and flexible, so it is less likely to snap in the wind than a thin metal frame.

4. Kids' umbrellas

For little ones, light weight, a comfortable handle and a colorful design that makes the child more visible on the road matter. Our kids' umbrella has 2 layers and comes in two designs.

5. Delivery
